What is the Lute Athletic Booster Club?
Lute Club is an organization that supports athletics at
Pacific Lutheran University. The primary purpose of Lute Club is to
help fund team travel, to assist facility enhancement and
maintenance, and to provide quality equipment.
Lute Club - PLU's Team!
By joining Lute Club, you become a member of the PLU
athletic team which includes alumni, parents and other friends of
the university. It is easy to join and by doing so you are able to
directly help student-athletes and athletics in general. You can be
a Lute supporter with a gift of any size, and membership begins at
only $500.

Membership Benefits
The primary benefit of membership in the Lute
Athletic Booster Club is the satisfaction of assisting PLU's
intercollegiate athletic program and belonging to an organization
that benefits Pacific Lutheran University and its
student-athletes.
Notice:
The Lute Club Golf Tournament will not be played in 2008 and 2009
as the committee evaluates the tournament and seeks ways to raise
funds for the PLU athletic program.
Dear Lutes and Friends:
Pacific Lutheran University athletic teams have for decades enjoyed a "Tradition of Excellence" at the conference, regional and national levels. For many years, Lute Club has played a key role in that excellence by providing funds that supported the athletic program. At Pacific Lutheran University, we are proud of the "Tradition of Excellence" and encourage you to become a member of the Lute Club Team.
Lute Club serves the PLU athletic program in two ways. First, Lute Club provides financial support to help meet the cost of running a nationally recognized athletic program. Donations are used for such items as the purchase and maintenance of equipment, and for defraying out-of-region travel costs. Second, Lute Club members can help identify the type of student-athlete that makes up the the 20-sport, 500-student PLU athletic program, and refer those students to our Admission Office. Because financial assistance in NCAA Division III institutions cannot be based on athletic ability, we are looking for outstanding students who are also quality athletes.
I invite you to share the vision we have for helping develop these outstanding young people through our athletic program. Your contribution to Lute Club will assist us in the goal of being the very best we can be. You will invest directly in the success of PLU's athletic program for this year and for years to come.
