Dustin Hegge - Men's Golf
Dustin Hegge ranks atop the Northwest Conference individual leaderboard for Player of the Year honors heading into this weekend's NWC Championships. Hegge and the Lutes are aiming for an NWC title and a berth to the NCAA Div. III National Tournament, with the Lutes tied for second in the conference behind Willamette. They will make their push this weekend at the two-day NWC Championships down in Woodburn, Ore.

Desirae Haselwood - Women's Golf
Desirae Haselwood has immediately stepped into the PLU women's golf team's lineup this season as a freshman, carding the Lutes' best scores at several tournaments so far this spring. She and the Lutes wrap up the season next weekend at the NWC Championships in Woodburn, Ore.

Taylor Brunstad - Women's Rowing
Taylor Brunstad is the lone senior on the 2014 Pacific Lutheran women's rowing team. Taylor and the Lutes will look to reclaim the Lamberth Cup from cross-town rival Puget Sound this Saturday morning at American Lake.

Allison McClure has been one of the top players on the Pacific Lutheran women's tennis team this season. Allison and the Lutes return home this weekend for a pair of Northwest Conference matches against Pacific and Willamette.

Nicole Dandridge - Track & Field
Nicole Dandridge has made an immediate impact in her freshman season at Pacific Lutheran as a sprinter and member of the Lutes' 4x100 relay team. She will be back in action this weekend along with the rest of the team right across town at the Peyton Scoring Meet at University of Puget Sound on Friday and Saturday.

Dominick Courcy is one of PLU's three seniors on the 2014 baseball team. As the starting center fielder, Courcy bats leadoff for the Lutes and is PLU's top base-stealing threat. Courcy and the Lutes return home to host cross-town rival Puget Sound this weekend.

Katie Lowery - Softball
Katie Lowery is the starting catcher for the PLU softball team. Through 12 games this season, she ranks fourth on the team with a .317 batting average. Katie and the Lutes will be on the road this weekend, taking on Lewis & Clark down in Portland.

James Okubo and the PLU men's tennis team picked up its first win of the 2014 spring season last weekend. The Lutes return to the court in two weeks, when they host Whitman and Whitworth at Sprinker Recreation Center.

Bryce Miller has stepped into PLU's starting post role this season and has tallied three double-doubles in 22 starts. Miller and the Lutes wrap up the 2013-14 season this weekend on the road, taking on Willamette on Friday and Linfield on Saturday.

Brandon Lester helped lead the PLU men's basketball team to a pair of Northwest Conference home wins last weekend, combining for 38 points in the two games. Kina Ackerman has already posted one of the most impressive seasons in PLU swimming history, setting three school records this year. She swims in her final home meet as a Lute this Saturday in the PLU Winter Invitational.

Katelyn Smith - Women's Basketball
Katelyn Smith has started all 11 games this season and averaged 8.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. She returns to the court this weekend, when the Lutes head east of the mountains to take on Whitworth on Friday and Whitman on Saturday.

Jake Dacus - Swimming
Jake Dacus is a junior on the PLU swim team. Dacus and the Lutes have had a dominant start to the season, with both the men's and women's teams going 5-0 in duals before the Holiday Break. Shelly Kilcup is a senior on the PLU women's basketball team. She has started all five games this season and returns to the court when the Lutes host Concordia Saturday at 6 p.m. at Names Family Court.
