Former Coach Named to Montana Hall of Fame

Ed Anderson, a three-sport standout at the University of Montana who later was Pacific Lutheran men's basketball head coach, will be inducted into the Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame. The date of the induction banquet will be announced at a later date.

Anderson coached at Pacific Lutheran for eight seasons from 1975 until 1983. His PLU teams compiled a 119-93 overall record and won three conference championships.

As a student-athlete in the early 1950s at the University of Montana, Anderson earned nine letters in football, basketball and baseball. He is the only Montana athlete to earn first team All-Skyline Conference honors in those three sports.

Anderson lives in Walla Walla.
