Noll Earns Conference Honor

Defender Greg Noll was honored Tuesday by the Northwest Conference as the Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for his stellar work in leading the Lutes defensively to victories this past weekend. 

The defense limited these two upper division NWC teams to 18 total shots and only six on goal. PLU has twice shut out second-place Whitworth.  Noll played all 180 minutes of the weekend, and had several key defensive stops that kept victory for the Lutes.  

Noll, a junior from Vancouver, Wash., is majoring in engineering at PLU, and will finish his final two years of the engineering program at a different school than PLU.  This 3-2 program means that Noll is in his final season as a Lute.
