Bugbee and Na Snag All-Region Accolades

Complete All-West Region Team

TACOMA, Wash. -Pacific Lutheran University men's soccer student-athletes Eddie Na and Bennett Bugbee were honored by the United Soccer Coaches this week, securing All-West Region honors.

Na earned a spot on the Second Team while Bugbee landing Third Team accolades.

A forward from University Place, Washington, Na earns All-Region honors for the second time in his career, securing Third Team accolades in 2016. Na was the Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year this fall, leading the league in goals (16) and points (34).

A midfielder from Bellevue, Washington, Bugbee secures the All-Region honor for the first time in his career. A First Team All-NWC honoree, Bugbee ranks second in the conference in assists with six helpers while finishing third on the team in both goals (four) and points (14).

Na and Bugbee accounted for two of the four All-Region honorees from the Northwest Conference. The All-West Region team featured 11 players on both the First and Second Team and 13 student-athletes on the Third Team.

The Lutes earned a share of the NWC title this fall, wrapping up the season with an 11-5-3 record and a 9-3-2 mark in conference play. PLU proved to be a tough opponent to play at home, owning a 7-1-2 record in games played at East Field.
