Men's Tennis Alumni Event a Success

Pacific Lutheran men's tennis had a successful alumni social event during Homecoming week with more than 25 former Lutes players in attendance.

Many of those 25 hit the PLU courts for some doubles play, followed by lunch and prizes.

PLU first-year head coach Rocky Poulin announced that the PLU men's tennis endowment fund would officially be named The Mike Benson Tennis Endowment, honoring the long-time PLU coach who led 24 of his men's teams to Northwest Conference titles.

"The Lute tennis alumni showed why PLU is a special place of building relationships through sports," Poulin said following the event.
