Sullivan Joins PLU Men's Tennis Coaching Staff

Scott Sullivan, a men's tennis standout at Gonzaga and a 2012 graduate of the Spokane school, has been added to the Pacific Lutheran University men's tennis coaching staff.

At Gonzaga, Sullivan accumulated 120 combined singles and doubles wins before graduating with a degree in business administration in May of 2012. He is a two-time All-West Coast Conference doubles selection and was twice named to the WCC All-Academic Team. As a senior, Scott reached a No. 79 national ranking in Division I doubles and tied Gonzaga's single season singles wins record with 23 victories.

"The PLU men's tennis program is excited to be adding Scott Sullivan to our staff," PLU head coach Rocky Poulin said. "Scott brings NCAA Division I playing experience to our program. His local tennis connections, his integrity, and his energy certainly add value to our Lute tennis family. We are excited for our current and future Lutes to learn from him."

A Puyallup native, Sullivan is an assistant professional at the Sprinker Recreation Center and enjoys college basketball, hiking, and playing other racquet sports.
