NWC Softball Start Delayed by Inclement Weather

PARKLAND - Pacific Lutheran was scheduled to open its Northwest Conference softball schedule with a pair of home doubleheaders this weekend, but those games have been postponed by inclement weather.

With several inches of snow on the field and high temperatures over the next several days not expected to reach the 40s, there is no chance that the field would be ready for PLU's conference doubleheaders against George Fox on Saturday and Lewis & Clark on Sunday.

Coaches and administrators from both schools are working on rescheduling the games, and that information will be released when it becomes available.
