Henry Shoots First Day Low Score for PLU Golfers

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Paige Henry carded an 89 on Monday to lead Pacific Lutheran's opening round performance at the UC Santa Cruz Invitational being held at Pasatiempo Golf Club.

The Lutes shot a 376 team score. Following Henry was Julie Heffernan with a 90, followed by Kristina Norlin with a 95 and Karina Shelton with a 102.

"We played very well on a tough course," PLU coach Mike Fosnick said, noting that Pasatiempo is ranked 66th toughest in the country.

No other information was available from the tournament, which concludes on Tuesday.
