HILLSBORO, Ore. - Netting two goals and an assist over the weekend has earned Pacific Lutheran University women's soccer student-athlete Machaela Graddy the Northwest Conference's Offensive Player of the Week Award on Monday.
The senior forward and reigning NWC Offensive Player of the Year tallied two goals in a 2-0 victory over in-state rival Evergreen State College on Friday night. Grady continued her strong offensive performance on Sunday, collecting an assist on the game-winning goal in the Lutes' (3-1) 2-0 victory over Division II Saint Martin's University.
Graddy is no stranger to winning the weekly award, capturing NWC Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions during the 2016 season. Graddy tallied the award on Oct. 17 before replicating the feat on Oct. 24. The Eatonville, Washington native's scoring output over the weekend pushed her into the program's career top 10 in goals scored with 31 while sitting one point shy of cracking the top 10 with 76 career points.
Pacific Lutheran is back on the pitch on Saturday, hosting Pacific University on East Field at noon.
