Pacific Lutheran Fifth at NWC Relays

WALLA WALLA - Pacific Lutheran placed fifth in the women's portion of the NWC Relays held Saturday at the Whitman College pool.

Whitworth scored 38 points in the women's events, followed by Puget Sound with 30, Pacific 22, Whitman 19, PLU 13, Linfield 9 and Willamette 1.

Combining the men's and women's results with mixed relay races, Whitworth was the overall winner and PLU finished fourth.

Pacific Lutheran's top finishes were a pair of fourths in the 300 backstroke and 900 freestyle relays.
