LOOKING FOR FIRST WIN: The Lutes are looking for their first victory of the season as they host the Boxers and Bearcats. PLU is 0-6 this season, including a 0-4 record against conference opponents. The program has suffered 17 consecutive defeats dating back to early March of last season.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS: Pacific enters Friday's match with a 4-3 overall record and a 3-3 mark against the conference. PLU has a 31-5 all-time series record against Pacific, winning the first 31 in a row and losing the five most recent contests. Willamette is 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference with close losses to Whitman and Pacific. The Lutes are 31-8 all-time against Willamette but have lost the last six straight to the Bearcats.
