Lutes Drop Women's Tennis Match to Loggers

Pacific Lutheran dropped a 7-2 Northwest Conference women's tennis match to visiting Puget Sound on Wednesday afternoon.

Leah Newell and Tina Aarsvold were winners at No. 1 doubles, defeating Maddison Holtz and Josephine Dow by an 8-4 tally. Newell was PLU's winner in singles, defeating Jenna Gerdsen, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 2.

The Lutes are now 1-13 overall and 0-9 in the conference. They host George Fox on Friday and Lewis & Clark on Saturday in NWC tilts.
