Lutes Tied for 16th in National Volleyball Poll

After winning all five of its matches last week, Pacific Lutheran has moved up one spot and into a tie for 16th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Top 25 Poll.

The Lutes picked up a total of 217 points to tie Eastern for 16th in the national poll. PLU was ranked No. 17 in the AVCA preseason poll.

Ahead for the Lutes is an appearance at the Cal-Lu-fornia Invitational hosted by California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. PLU will face a total of four opponents, including La Verne, which is in the "others receiving votes" category of this week's AVCA poll.
