Men Third, Women Fourth at Saint Martin's Race

LACEY - Pacific Lutheran placed third in the men's division and fourth in the women's race at the Saint Martin's Cross Country Invitational held Saturday morning on the SMU campus.

Frosh Alan DenAdel placed 12th overall in the men's 8000-meter race with a time of 27:20 to lead PLU. Western Washington scored 31, followed by Saint Martin's with 63, Pacific Lutheran 85 and Clark College 97.

On the women's side, Western Washington scored 29 points, followed by Clark with 60, Saint Martin's 76, PLU 89, Seattle Pacific 123 and Evergreen State 170. Suzy Olsen had the best finish for the Lutes in the 6000-meter event, finishing in a time of 24:16.
