The Northwest Conference office released its postseason award winners on Nov. 9 with Pacific Lutheran University men's soccer student-athlete Alex White earning First Team All-NWC and NWC Defensive Player of the Year honors. 

White lands First Team All-Conference laurels for the first time in his career while becoming the first Lute since Brian Lubeck in 2007 to earn NWC Defensive Player of the Year. The Henderson, Nevada native started all 19 games this fall and anchored a defensive backline that earned shutouts in 11 of the 13 NWC matches this fall. White and the Lute defense allowed just five goals during the entire conference season, including yielding just one score in the final six matches. White tallied three goals and one assist on the season, including one game-winning goal.
