For the third time this season, Pacific Lutheran University football utility man Anthony Louthan was named the Northwest Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. 
 
Louthan collected the honor on Monday afternoon after another stellar effort with his leg. The senior punted the ball six times with all six punts landing inside the 20-yard line. Three of those punts sailed inside the 10, with two landing inside the five. Louthan's punts didn't allow for any wiggle room with Willamette University only able to muster two total return yards on punts in PLU's (3-3, 2-2 NWC) 33-20 victory to remain undefeated at Sparks Stadium this season.
 
Louthan racked up 226 yards on his six punts, averaging 37.7 yards per boot. He had a long of 46 on the day and his three shortest punts all landed inside the 15-yard line, including his shortest boot, a 30-yarder, that pinned the Bearcats on the 2-yard line.
 
The Montesano, Washington native additionally racked up 31 yards on the ground and caught one pass for six yards. 
 
This is the third NWC honor this season for Louthan who also tallied the accolade on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. He was also named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week on Oct. 9.
