apiece. The Lutes closed out the second set by scoring 19 of the
final 25 points.
The Lutes broke away from a 5-5 tie in the third set, and again
it came on Mattson's serve. The 8-0 run included a Mattson ace and
a pair of kills by Hanna. Sarah Beaver finished the set with a
kill.
The Lutes scored the first point of the fourth set on a kill by
Kelsie Moore and
they never trailed after that. Back-to-back kills by Bremond gave
the Lutes a 7-2 advantage, and after that the closest the Bearcats
came to PLU was 14-13.
Pacific Lutheran finished the match with a .218 team hitting
percentage, including .302 in the second set and .444 in the third
