NCAA Div. I Seattle University pulls away to 72-33 win over Lutes

KENT – Seattle University used a 30-10 first-half run as the NCAA Div. I Redhawks sailed to a 72-33 nonconference men's basketball victory against Pacific Lutheran Monday night at the 2014 ShoWare College Classic.

Austen Trent Wilson scored six points to lead the Lutes, making two of his three shot attempts in the game. Terrell Williams added five for the Lutes as 16 different PLU players saw court time in the game.

Jarell Flora led all scorers with 16 points for Seattle University, while Jack Crook posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Manroop Clair tallied 12 points and Isiah Umipig added 11 for the Redhawks.

Seattle University shot 45.5 percent for the game (25-of-55) while limiting PLU to a 23.1 shooting percentage (12-of-52). PLU falls to 1-4 this season, while Seattle improves to 3-3. The Lutes return to action Sunday, when they host UC Santa Cruz at 2 p.m.
