HILLSBORO, ORE. - The Northwest Conference office released its weekly gridiron award winners on Sunday afternoon with Pacific Lutheran University football student-athlete
Alex Brost earning NWC Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Waimea, Hawaii native claims the award after scoring 11 points in the Lutes' (2-7, 1-6 NWC) 45-20 victory over Willamette University in the season finale. Brost was five-for-five on extra points while kicking a 36-yard and a 23-yard field goal.
This isn't Brost's first recognition from the league, earning Special Teams Player of the Week on Nov. 6, 2017.
The senior finished the 2019 as the Lutes' scoring leader, netting 47 points on the season. Brost was 20-for-21 on extra points while hitting nine fueld goals on the year.
