Creekmur's favorite memory as a Lute was playing Linfield University during his freshman season at Sparks Stadium. The game went into overtime and although the sixth-ranked Wildcats came out with the 16-10 win, Creekmur will never forget the excitement and energy the team committed to that overtime.

Creekmur believes football has taught him important lessons of discipline and optimism that he will carry into his life post-graduation. He is also grateful for his teammates and coaches for being his support system throughout his college experience.

The Honolulu, Hawaii native has seen action on the gridiron in each of the last three seasons. In addition, Creekmur tested the waters as a track & field athlete in 2019, competing in the 100-meters, 200-meters, long jump, and triple jump while also competing as a member of the 4x100-meter relay for the Lutes.

"Tyson has been such a steady teammate over the last three years," said Head Coach Brant McAdams.

"He has embraced challenges in position changes and always focused on setting the standard for the things that span across every position on the team; optimism and effort. Tyson has shown our program that a positive outlook and hard work are a great recipe for taking on life's challenges."

Outside of athletics, Creekmur made many late-night runs to Sheri's with his friends, and also worked for PLU stage services.

"I learned a lot about the campus history and got to be part of a lot of on campus shows I never would have thought I would enjoy," Creekmur said.

Creekmur will graduate with a degree in Geology, and plans to become a seasonal wildland firefighter while living in his hometown of Honolulu during the off-seasons.
