Walla Walla, Wash. – Entering its final weekend of the season, the Pacific Lutheran University men's tennis team lost to Whitman College on Friday evening by a 9-0 score. 
 
In doubles action, 
Derek Stone and 
Lars Wangen provided the stiffest test for the Blues, losing by an 8-3 score at No. 3.  Playing at the top spot in the singles lineup, 
Michael Campbell kept things competitive, but was ultimately defeated by Andreas Mueller-Immergluck, 6-2, 6-3.   
 
The Lutes (2-7, 1-6 NWC) and the Blues (8-1, 6-1 NWC) will meet again tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in the season finale for PLU.
