Complete CSC Academic All-District Team
TACOMA, Wash. — College Sports Communicators released its Academic All-District Football Team award winners on Tuesday with five Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes earning a spot on the team.
Ashton Barton,
Nico Golla,
Kellen Kranc,
Francisco Lugo, and
Nico Skinner were recognized for their efforts on the gridiron and in the classroom. The five Lutes were among the 40 student-athletes from around the Northwest Conference to be named Academic All-District.
All five earn a spot on the team after maintaining a grade point average above a 3.50 and playing in 50 percent or more of the Lutes' 10 games this fall.
This is the second major award for three of the Lutes honored with
Ashton Barton,
Nico Golla, and
Nico Skinner earning All-NWC accolades back on Nov. 14. Golla was named First Team All-Conference with Barton and Skinner both securing Second Team All-NWC.
The Lutes wrapped up the 2022 season with a 6-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in NWC play, finishing tied for second in the league standings.
