Men's Hoops Heading to Spokane for NWC Tourney

HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Co-Northwest Conference Champion Pacific Lutheran University men's basketball squad will open up the postseason on the road, trekking across the state to face Whitworth University in the semifinals of the 2022 NWC Tournament.

The Co-Champion Lutes (18-7, 13-3 NWC) earned the tournament's three-seed and will travel to Spokane for a showdown against second-seeded and fellow NWC Co-Champion Whitworth on Thursday inside Whitworth Fieldhouse. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. The other side of the bracket has top-seeded Linfield University hosting fourth-seed Whitman College in McMinnville, Oregon on Thursday.

Tickets to the 2022 NWC Tournament can be purchased online beginning tonight at 8 p.m. through the NWC office (LINK). General Admission tickets are $10 with tickets $5 for children 12 and under, seniors 65+, and military personnel. Students receive free admission with a valid NWC school ID.

The winners of Thursday's game will meet in Saturday's NWC Championship Game that is set for 7 p.m. at the home site of the highest remaining seed. The winner of the NWC Tournament will receive the league's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Tournament.
