Fisk Named Assistant Director of Sports Communication

TACOMA, Wash. — The Pacific Lutheran University athletic department announced the hiring of Chase Fisk as the Assistant Director of Sports Communication.
 
"I'm excited to be in this position and look forward to working alongside the coaches and staff in Luteville. PLU has a tremendous history of championship athletics and great academic programs, and I can't wait to tell that story as a member of the communications staff," said Fisk.
 
"I want to thank Mark Albanese, Mike Snyder, and the rest of the administration at PLU for their support and giving me this incredible opportunity to become a part of a great team of leaders!"
 
A Tumwater, Washington native, Fisk comes to Luteville from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where he served as an intern with the strategic communications office before working as a graduate assistant in external relations. While at the Division II institution, Fisk helped the Rangers host the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament, created graphics for the department, and assisted in the livestream production.

"The student-athlete experience is at the center of everything we do. Chase's skill set elevates our ability to provide a quality experience and share the stories of what makes Luteville such a special place."
 
Fisk earned an associate's degree from Bellevue College in 2020 before earning a bachelor's degree in sports management from UW-Parkside in 2022. A College golfer, Fisk was the NWAC Sportsman of the Year at Bellevue in 2020 and was named to the Academic All-GLIAC Team at Parkside in 2022.
