Complete CSC Academic All-American Team
TACOMA, Wash. — Pacific Lutheran University defender
Cole Dobson's soccer resume got a little bit longer on Tuesday, earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American honors for the second consecutive year.
Dobson earned Third Team Academic All-American status and is one of 34 student-athletes from around NCAA Division III to be recognized. Dobson is the lone student-athlete from the Northwest Conference to be honored and one of just three players from the West Coast to be honored for their success in the classroom and on the soccer pitch.
A three-time Northwest Conference Player of the Year and a four-time First Team All-NWC selection, the Spokane, Washington native played and started 20 games this fall. Dobson had two goals and one assist in 2024 while anchoring a stout defensive unit that allowed just 21 goals all season.
Dobson was one of four Lutes than earned CSC Academic All-District honors back on Nov. 19, joining teammates
Quinn Bieber,
Connor O'Brien, and
Jordan Ross.
Pacific Lutheran won the NWC title for the second straight year. The Lutes finished the season with a 13-3-5 overall record and an 11-1-4 mark in league play while posting an impressive 7-0-2 record in games played at East Field.
