Ashton Barton,
Lukas Delisle, and
Jonathan Cohen headline the list for PLU.

Barton, a Puyallup, Wash. native, recently graduated from the baseball diamond with a business degree where he plans to attend graduate school next year. The Second Team All-Northwest Conference honoree started 40 games for the Lutes in 2024, hitting .270 with 33 runs batted in. Barton spent most of his time behind the plate or at third base. The utility man spent all five seasons in the black and gold, hitting .271 with 115 runs batted in an 17 home runs in his career, while being named All-Conference three times.

Bellingham, Wash. native
Lukas Delisle earned the academic award after graduating with his degree in Business Marketing. He plans on returning to PLU for the 2025 season as he begins his graduate program. Delisle appeared in 37 games for the Lutes in 2024, hitting .269 with 28 hits and 11 runs batted in. The Lutes catcher made his way to Luteville after two seasons at Olympic Community College. In his three-year career at PLU, Delisle holds a career average of .272 with 64 hits and 24 runs batted in.

Jonathan Cohen earned the academic honors as he is currently studying as a business major with a concentration in finance and accounting and a minor in communications. The Lutes pitcher made eight starts in the black and gold in 2024 to go along with seven appearances out of the bullpen. The lefty threw 58 innings in 2024 to bring his total to 160 in his career. Cohen holds an impressive 113-70 strikeout-to-walk ratio in his career.
