Complete D3football.com Team of the Week

TACOMA, Wash. — Connor Meade's exploits on Saturday have earned him a second award in as many days, with the Pacific Lutheran University special teams whiz landing a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Meade was among the 26 student-athletes from around the nation to be recognized on the Team of the Week and was one of two from the Northwest Conference. The Team of the Week consists of 11 offensive players, 11 defensive players, and four specialists.
 
The Tacoma, Washington native snags a spot as a returner after taking the opening kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown in PLU's home opening 42-16 win over Simpson University. Meade finished the day with 145 total yards— gaining 103 yards on two kick returns, 35 yards on two receptions, and seven yards on a punt return. 
 
Saturday's opening kickoff touchdown is the second of Meade's career, also doing it against Pacific University in the fall of 2024. Meade was named the NWC Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Meade was joined on the Team of the Week by Lewis & Clark College linebacker Charlie Murrin. 2025 is the 27^th season D3football.com has had a Team of the Week. Meade is the 21^st Lute to earn Team of the Week honors and the first since Kalen Davis-White made the team in week 11 of last season.
 
Meade and the Lutes (1-1) are back in action on Saturday, hosting 23^rd-ranked Trinity University. Kickoff at Sparks Stadium is set for noon.
