TACOMA, Wash. — Easton and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association recognized success on the diamond and in the classroom with 15 members of the Northwest Conference Champion Pacific Lutheran University softball team securing Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-America honors.
Earning the NFCA academic award is

Kamalani Doctor,
Arianna Franco,
Paola Garcia,
Mila Hargrave,
Grace Kikuchi,
Megan Landes,
Gillian Renzullo,
Bri Sarae,
Ashlyn Sera,
Jaycie Simpliciano,
Zoe Smithson,
Rachel Treves, and
Paige Wilson. Six of PLU's 15 NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-Americans were also All-Conference selections with Garcia and Wilson securing First Team honors while Doctor and Smithson were Second Team selections while Sera and Ahlo-Garcia were both Third Team All-League honorees.Â
PLU's 15 award winners were among the 60 student-athletes from around the NWC to be honored, representing four of the league's eight softball playing institutions. Student-athletes were additionally recognized from Lewis & Clark College, Linfield University, and Whitworth University. To be eligible, student-athletes needed to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale.Â
The Lutes had a banner this spring under 2026 NWC Coach of the Year
Traci Barrett, winning the NWC regular season crown for the first time since 2003 and punching a ticket to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since winning the national title in 2012. Pacific Lutheran closed the season with a 35-12 overall record and a 24-4 mark in conference play, winning 13 of their final 14 games.Â
