2019: Appeared in all nine games for the Lutes, recording 22 tackles on the season.
High School: At Mount Rainier High School, he competed in football, earning four varsity letters while spending three years as team captain. Martinez earned his team's Most Valuable Player award three years. As a senior, he earned all-state honors and was an all-league defensive player of the year. As a junior and sophomore, he was first-team all-league. Away from the field, he volunteers a coach at Pacific Middle School football.
Academic: At PLU, his major is pre-law, but wants to become a police officer. Chose PLU because "The community is open and accepting. Very successful academically and the football team is strong."
Personal: Son of Joey and Jackie Martinez and is a brother to Jase.
Hobbies: Sing, play instruments, spend time with family and friends, Netflix and helping the community.
