Pacific Lutheran University Athletics

2019-2020: Competed at the NWC championships in the 50 free, 100 back, and 100 free, and the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free, and 400 free relays. Earned Second Team All-NWC with 7th-place finish in the 50 free (21.38) and the 100 back (51.75), and a 6th-place finish in the 200 back (1:54.26). Broke school records in 200 medley and 400 free relays.


2018-2019: Earned Second Team All-NWC in the 50 free, 100 back, 100 free, and 400 free relay. Competed at the NWC Championships in the 100 free, 50 back, 100 back, and 50 free. At the NWC Championships finished 6th in the 100 free, 6th in the 100 back, and 8th in the 50 free.  

2017-2018: Competed in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 back in the NWC Championships. Finished 18th in the 50 free, 19th in the 100 back and 21st in the 100 free. 

High School: Earned three varsity letters in the pool and earned another letter as a member of the football team. Helped the Cougars win the Ventura County Championship as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Was the County Champion in the 50-free.

Personal: Is the son of Amy and Eric Mortensen. Is a brother to Broc and Koy. Plans on working in broadcasting, public speaking, event planning. Has done missionary work in Florida with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, and watching movies. Enjoys football, basketball, baseball, and fencing.
