Pacific Lutheran University Athletics

2020: Appeared in five games for the Lutes making the start in all of them. Hit .286 from the plate on the season. Had nine putouts and 2 assists in the field.

2019: Appeared in 41 games for teh Lutes. Had 132 at-bats and accumulated a .250 batting average. Had 6 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 home runs on the season. Hit his first career home run against UPS on March 10. Defensively, he had 165 putouts with just 3 errors. Earned Honorable Mention All-NWC honors. 

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and a three-time MVP and team captain for the Crimson Bears. Was the Alaskan Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior. Also earned First Team All-State and All-Conference, helping the Crimson Bears win Regional and State titles. Was First Team All-Conference as a junior, helping Juneau-Douglas finish third in state. Was First Team All-State as a sophomore and First Team All-Conference as a freshman. 

Personal: Is the son of Nancy Spicher-Cesar and David Cesar. Has three siblings: Shaylin, Catherine, and Christian. Plans on becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Chose PLU because "PLU allows me to both play baseball and has an outstanding pre-med program." Volunteered at Read Across America, Local Humane Society, Peer Tutoring, and Local Blood Drives. Hobbies include camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and snowboarding. Involved with International Honors Program and Outdoor Recreation. Played volleyball at the Arctic Winter Games in Greenland in 2016.
