2019-20 Men's Swimming Roster
Biography
2019-2020: Competed in the NWC Championships in the 500 free, 20 free, and 100 free, and the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free, and 400 free relays. Received Second Team All-Conference honors with a 5th-place finish in the 200 free (1:43.22) and a 4th-place finish in the 100 free (46.11). Broke school records in 200 medley and 400 free relays.
High School: Johannessen participated in swimming and earned two varsity letters. He was named his team's Most Valuable Player once. He participates in the freestyle events.
Major: Intends on majoring in computer science and history. Chose PLU because of “the combination of excellent academics and swimming.”
Personal: Son of Heather Johannessen.
Hobbies: Reading, video games, and building LEGO bricks
