2023: Appeared in 21 games for the Lutes, starting in 11 of them. Had eight hits, two runs scored, and one home run. In the field had 16 putouts.
2022: Appeared in 27 games for the Lutes and started in 25. Hit .260 with 13 RBI's and 11 runs scored. In the field had 58 putouts.
2021: Appeared in 33 games for the Lutes, starting in 27 of them. Finished the season with a .390 batting average, driving in 18 runs and scoring 25 more. In the field had 68 putouts and only one error. Earned all-conference honorable mention honors at the end of the season.
2020: Appeared in nine games for the Lutes making the start in five of them. Hit .250 on the season with 3 RBI’s. Had seven putouts in the field this season.
2019: Appeared in 17 games for the Lutes. Had 11 at-bats during the season and picked up a hit against Chapman on February 8.
High School: At Rogers High School, Boyd earned two varsity letters. As a senior was team captain and named All-SPSL as a centerfielder. Away from the diamond, he volunteers with Search and Rescue and skied.
Major: Plans on majoring in business and economics. After college wants to join the Air Force and become a pilot like my parents. Chose PLU “because of the great culture on the baseball team and the great academics.”
Personal: Son of Mark and Isabel Boyd and is a brother to Jenna.
