Biography
2020: Threw shot put at the UW Preview event and recorded a long throw of 35’ 8 ½”. Also had a long throw of 11.86m in the Ed Boitano Invitational. Also had a discus throw of 28.03m.
2018: Competed in 11 meets for the Lutes. Finished third in ther hammer, fourth in the discus, and eighth in the shot put at the NWC Championships. Tallied season-best throws of 41' 11 1/4" in the shot put, 126' 7" in the discus, 144' 0" in the hammer, and 43' 9 3/4" in the weight throw.
2017: Competed in 10 meets for the Lutes. Was the NWC Champion in the shot put and runner-up in the hammer throw. Threw a career-best 43' 1 3/4" in shot put. Also had a career-best in discuss, throwing 125' 5". Another career-best came in the hammer throw, as she marked a 151' 8". Earned The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Honors.
High School: Three-year letterwinner, serving as team captain for two seasons. Placed eighth at the 4A State Championships in the shot put as a junior. Also played on the volleyball team. earning two letters and earning team MVP accolades once. Lettered as a member of the wrestling team, qualifying for the state meet as an alternate.
Personal: Born on May 20, 1998 to parents Elisapesi and Lepapamatietie. Is a sister to Lepapamatietie (Mookie), Leitumalotalofaioumoomooga, and Letuaeletise. Older brother Mookie was a member of the PLU football team. Served as Associated Student Body Secretary and Vice President. National Honor Society President, LINK Crew Treasurer and President and Polynesian Dance Club President. Was a Washington Principals' Scholar Award winner and the Science Department Student of the Year.
