2021: Appeared in all four games for the Lutes. Recorded 10 reception for 55 yards and three touchdowns. All three touchdowns came in the season opener against Puget Sound.
2019: Appeared in all nine games for the Lutes. Had 33 catches for 474 yards and a touchdown. Had a season-high seven catches and 143 receiving yards against Pacific.
2018: Appeared in all nine games for the Lutes. Recorded 39 receptions for a total of 506 yards. Had a season high 105 receiving yards on 7 catches against Pacific. Returned 2 punts for a total of 28 yard.
2017: Appeared in seven games for the Lutes. Nixon had 10 carries for 85 yards, with a season high of 48 yards coming against Willamette. Nixon had one rushing touchdown that came against Pacific. Nixon made seven catches for 50 yards.
High School: At Fife High School, he was a four-year letterwinner, spent one year as team captain and was the team's MVP once. In his senior season, he was an offensive player of the year in the 2A SPSL, first-team defensive back and was second-team All-Area all-purpose. In his junior year he was a first-team All-League defensive back and a second-team wide receiver. As a sophomore, he was a second-team All-League returner, as well as a second-team running back.Â
Major:Â At PLU, he'll study communication with hopes of becoming a screen actor. He chose PLU because he "I love the area and the vibe around the school. I knew it was something special."Â
Personal:Â Son to Michelle and Shane, and is a brother to Alex and Connor. Is also a member of the 2018 NWC Champion PLU baseball team.Â
