College: Appeared in seven games for the Lutes in 2010...had a 1-1 record in 2009 playing in nine games..appeared in 12 games for the Lutes as a freshman including three starts.

High School: First team all-state pitcher at Nooksack Valley HS...member of third place teams in state in both baseball and basketball...American Legion team placed fifth at the 2007 national tournament.

Personal: Born Nov. 11, 1988...parents are Leeann and Charles Handy...Leeann played basketball for the Lutes in the 1980s...Charles played football at Western Washington...plans to major in business with a minor in economics.
