Biography

High School: At Tumwater High School, he competed in football earning two varsity letters. As a senior, he earned all-league honorable mention. As a junior, he earned academic all-area honors. Away from the football field, he volunteers as a Thurston county youth football coach and does yard work for the Thurston County Food Bank. 

Academic: At PLU, he plans on majoring in Kinesiology with hopes of becoming a strength and conditioning coach. Chose PLU because "when I visited, people on campus were friendly towards my family and I. Also PLU football."

Personal: Son of Scott and Susan Monroe and is a brother to Kayla and Zachary. 

Hobbies: Reading and listening to music 

Favorite Sports Team: Green Bay Packers

Favorite Athlete: Jeff Saturday

Favorite Music: Green Day
