Don Papasedero joined the PLU football staff in the spring of 2018 as the linebackers coach.

Papasedero joins the Lutes after a decorated coaching career that includes 43 seasons as a high school or college coach in the state of Washington. At the prep level, Papasedero has coached for 11 programs and made 17 trips to the state playoffs as a defensive coordinator. His tenure includes developing three NFL players, 21 Division I players, and 46 college linebackers along with over 78 All-League selections. He has coached in the East vs. West All-State Game. He was the WSCA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2010 and was the KingCo Coach of the Year 15 times in three sports.

Papasedero has participated as a college camp coach at Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA programs and has additionally coached professional football in Torino, Italy and served as an assistant for the Italian National Team. 

Papasedero owns a degree in education from Seattle University and a master's in sport science from the United States Sports Academy. He attended and played college baseball at the University of Puget Sound.
