Everett Jenkins

Everett Jenkins joined the PLU football staff in the spring of 2018 as the offensive line coach. 

Jenkins joins the Lutes with considerable experience at both the high school and collegiate ranks. He served as the offensive line coach at Stadium High School in Tacoma for the past two seasons, helping the Tigers qualify for the state playoffs, the first two appearances in school history. Prior to Stadium, Jenkins served as an offensive line coach at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, helping the Hilltoppers to state semifinal appearances in both 2014 and 2010. He was the offensive line coach at Mequon Homestead High School (Wisconsin), helping the team win the state title in 2006 and rank 27th in the nation by Maxprep.com and a state runner-up finish in 2007. While serving as coach, the Highlanders compiled a 48-4 record on the gridiron.

Jenkins was the assistant director of athletics at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee from 2011-2014, including serving as interim head track & field coach in 2014. He was the head coach at Glendale Nicolet High School (Wisconsin) for one season and also has experience as a high school wrestling and track & field coach.

Jenkins graduated with a degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin where he was a member of the Badgers' wrestling team. He earned a master's degree in sport administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
