2019: Was a member of the PLU Football Team

High School: In High School, Deric was a two year varsity football player and was 1st team all league as an offensive linemen. Off the field Deric took part in the help with suicide prevention walk
 
Major: Deric is going to major in Business.
 
Personal: Deric has one older sibling, Raymon who is 23 along with his family, Debbie and Rick Lapuz
