College: Played in nine games in 2010, recording seven tackles and one sack...Member of the 2009 PLU football team...attended Tacoma Community College.

High School: First team all-state baseball in 2007, second team all-state football 2006 and his football team placed second in 2006 state championships. 

Personal: Majoring in exercise science...brother Josh played soccer at Concordia University...born April 2, 1989...parents are Katie and Mark Hoium.
