High School: At Southridge High School, he competed in football earning three varsity letters while spending one year as team captain. Perez earned his team's Most Valuable Player award once. As a senior, he passed for the second most yards in school history. Away from the field, Perez has participated in the canned food drive every year. 

Academic: At PLU, he plans on majoring in Kinesiology with hopes of becoming a physical therapist. Chose PLU because it is a "Top-notch education, values preached, and the community as a whole."

Personal: Son of Dannie Perez and Keri Gibson-Perez and is a brother to Michael and Kayden. 

Hobbies: Hiking, snowboarding, fishing and listening to music
