High School: Was a three-year letterwinner on the football team for the Warriors while also earning three letters in track & field as a thrower. Was named offensive MVP as a senior and ranked sixth overall in the state of Hawaii in the shot put as a senior. 

Personal: Parents are Julian Taifmai and Joan Anefal-Taifmai. Has two sibliongs: Dontae and Michealann. Hobbies include basketball, video games, and collecting sports cards. Plans on becoming a coach.
