2019: Appeared in four games for the Lutes, recording three tackles on the season.

High School: At Squalicum High School, he competed in football earning two varsity letters while spending one year as team captain. As a junior and senior, he earned all-league honorable mention. Away from the field, he volunteers with event set up at his church.

Personal: Son of Todd and Eileen Russell and is a brother to Ben, Dan and Mary.
