2022: Appeared in three games for the Lutes, recording one tackle against Pacific.

2021: Appeared in all four games for the Lutes, recording seven tackles on the season with one of them being for a loss.

2019: Appeared in three games for the Lutes recording two tackles on the season.

High School: At Lincoln, he competed in football earning four varsity letters while spending one year as team captain. Gillies earned his team's Most Valuable Player award once and was named league defensive MVP his senior season.

Major: At PLU, he plans on majoring in communications.

Personal: Son of Julie and Todd, brother to Joey and Megan.
