2021: Appeared in four games for the Lutes, making one start and getting one hit. 

High School: A three-year letterwinner, Hamel served as a team captain for his final season. 

Personal: Is the son of Kim and Jeff Hamel. Has five siblings: Has two brothers Jack and JT. Volunteers at at his church and as an infield instructor.  Member of community service club and is a Student Leader.  Plans on becoming a firefighter.
