Biography
2023: Appeared in 11 games for the Lutes, starting in 10 of them. In 70 innings pitched had 58 strikeouts, a 3.99 ERA, and a 6-2 record. Earned First Team All-Conference honors.
2022: Appeared on the mound in 14 games for the Lutes. In 75.1 innings pitched had 58 strikeouts, a 2.63 ERA, and a 7-2 record. Was named first team all-conference at the end of the season. Was a D3 Baseball.com and ABCA All-Region selection.
2021: Appeared on the mound in 12 games for the Lutes. In 23.1 innings pitched had 17 strikeouts, a 3.09 ERA, and a 1-1 record.
Previous College: Spent previous two seasons at Pierce College. Struck out six in five innings of work in a shortened 2020 season for the Falcons.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for the Warriors, serving as team captain for one season. Named Seattle Christian Athlete of the Year, Second Team All-League, and was a nominee for Washington All-Star Game as a senior. Was Honorable Mention All-League as a junior and Second Team All-League as a sophomore and freshman.
Personal: Is the son of Tammy Hollstein and Stephen Howell. Has one sibling: Kyle. Has served on mission trips to both Mexico and Costa Rica.
