2019: Competed in five races for the Lutes. Ran a season-best time of 27:03.0 at the Northwest Conference Championship.
2018: Competed in five events for the NWC Champion Lutes. Ran a season-best 8k of 28:11.1 at the 44th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational. Competed in the NWC Championship for the Lutes.
High School: Competed in the sports of cross country, football, and track & field for the Cougars, earning six letters and serving as team captain for one season. Was a state qualifier in cross country as a senior and was named Most Inspirational.
Personal: Son of John Samson and Nancy Krier. Volunteers at several local races and at Capital High campus clean ups. Was president of the Cribbage Club.
