2024-2025: Appeared in 24 games for the Lutes, starting in 12 of them. Averaged .495 from the field and .464 from beyond the arc. Also averaged 2.8 rebounds per game and had 38 assists and 16 steals on the season. Had a season high 17 points against Puget Sound on February 11th.

2023-2024: Appeared in 24 games, starting 15 of them for the Lutes. Had a season high of 22 points against Whitworth on February 16th, 2024. Montes averaged .494 from the field and .357 from beyond the arc. Averaging 11.2 points per game.

Transfer from South Puget Sound Community College. 

Previous College: Played in 50 games over the past two seasons for the Clippers, making 32 starts. Averaged 8.6 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game at SPSCC, including averaging 12.5 ppg as a sophomore in 2022-23. 

High School: Played three sports at Delta Senior, including hoops, wrestling and soccer. Was a three-year letterwinner and a three-time All-Conference selection in basketball. Earned All-Tournament honors and was the MVP of the Dean Cummings Tournament after leading the Huskies to the title. 

Personal: Parents are Jamie Montes and Anneris Padilla. Has one sibling: Jamie Jr. Hobbies include bowling. Was on the President's List and High Honor Roll at Delta Senior High.
